The work is used to help students understand taxonomy, but more importantly, the idea of where we belong in our cosmic journey. Furthermore, students are given the opportunity to explore the concept of simple to complex.
Print this set double sided. Designed so that each card has a graphical example on the front and the specific characteristics printed on the back for:
- Kingdom
- Phylum
- Class
- Order
- Family
- Genus, and
- Species
Great care has gone into designing this activity, which is calibrated so that each circle nests perfectly inside the other. Every icon is an actual photograph so your students can get a clear understanding of what members represent this kingdom.
