It influences our decisions (ask any advertising agency) and it has paid tribute to Gods, and humans alike for centuries. This timeline traces the history of music from the Prehistoric period to the modern day, giving you the ability to identify instruments of a given era along with the most influential composers.
This timeline has been a frequent request by many of you, and it is based on the same time scale as our other timelines so it can be used in conjunction with them when comparing events.
