Tropical Rainforest Food Web Elements is a digital printable Montessori ecology resource designed for lower elementary students ages 6–9. This interactive science set allows children to explore the relationships within a tropical rainforest ecosystem by arranging realistic organism cards, energy-direction arrows, and sun cards into food chains and connected food webs. Students work with rainforest plants, animals, insects, fungi, predators, prey, producers, consumers, and decomposers as they discover how sunlight supports life and how energy is passed from one living thing to another. The included tropical rainforest food web poster may be used as a control chart, giving teachers and homeschool guides a clear visual reference for presentations, independent follow-up, comparison, correction, discussion, and extension research.
