Music has managed to move us, encourage us, give us hope, lift us up when we feel down, or make us think. It influences our decisions (ask any advertising agency) and it has paid tribute to Gods, and humans alike for centuries. This timeline traces the history of music from the Prehistoric period to the modern day, giving you the ability to identify instruments of a given era along with the most influential composers.

This timeline has been a frequent request by many of you, and it is based on the same time scale as our other timelines so it can be used in conjunction with them when comparing events.

As with all our timelines this too is constructed from material that will stand up to more than just the wear of everyday use. Constructed from specialized paper it is 100% waterproof, chemical spill resistant, UV protected against fading, tear and crease resistant.

Because of the durability of the material there is no need for lamination.
