Set 1 includes 12 cards and uses visual representations of golden beads, carefully designed, to build a solid understanding of place value concepts. Each card serves as a tactile tool, calling children to embark on a mathematical journey that begins with elementary "fetch" games. These games are structured to encourage independent exploration, guiding the young learners to match color-coded numerals with corresponding pictorial quantities of golden beads.

As the children's proficiency evolves, the cards will in the following sets will gradually introduce more complex challenges. They transition from the color-coded, visually supported numerals to working with non-coded numerals, a leap that strategically enhances their cognitive abilities. This progression is aligned with the principles of developing a mathematical mind, effectively scaffolding the learning experience to promote not just numerical understanding but also critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Our goal is to help children to move away from simply memorizing numbers; they are moving into implementing their foundational number sense to interpret abstract mathematical concepts. The golden beads serve as a concrete foundation, from which they learn to visualize and manipulate numerical values, setting a solid groundwork for advanced mathematical operations and conceptual thinking.
