Children understand that everybody is connected in one way or another. Everybody has a job to do, and that job affects the community that we all live in.
This activity looks at four types of community helpers and includes plastic figures as well as Teacher Presentation Activities:
- Chef
- Fireman
- Pilot
- Police Officer
- Postal Carrier
- Veterinarian
- Construction Worker
This is an excellent activity to get the children to talk about work, responsibility, and helping each other.
