With more than 210 words, DOLCH words are the words that a child in each level should be able to read.

According to recent research 25% of the words we read and write are made up of 12 DOLCH words, while 50% of those words are made up from about 100 DOLCH words.

Separated into 5 levels with each level color coded for easy recognition. 

To identify the reading level of your students based on the number of DOLCH words they can recognize, you may use the following table.
