Designed to provide an introduction to the major art movements throughout history. This series of cards contains sample works by Paul Gauguin, the French post-impressionist artist. He is recognized for his experimental use of color and Synthetist style that were distinctly different from Impressionism. This series of cards is part of the Study of Art Series.
A total of 12 different paintings along with the title and date of the works of art were found is on the back side of each card. Each card measures 8.5" x 5.5"
A biography card is also included giving a brief introduction to his life and works.
