Product Overview
Today's students are incredibly visually oriented. Sentence diagramming helps students understand the grammar behind writing. It is the natural continuation of a process that begins in 3rd level and the skills they have accumulated from using Developing Writing Through Grammar. From there transitioning into the skills offered by Sentence Analysis with the final goal of bringing everything together through the work presented here in sentence diagramming.
To be sure, the benefits of Sentence Diagramming are many. Students learn information organizational skills, and most important how to make visual representations of language. Our goal as guides should be to be able to help students understand the finer points of grammar. In doing so, we see their writing become more complex and mature.
